Gov hates privacy as it is now envisioned, because it makes collecting tax difficult or impossible (terrorism is an afterthought...). Comments like those made by Fed Chair Powell are realistic, and it will be interesting to see what actually develops.

If not already having done so, watch @dgb_chilling vid on schnorr, mimblewimble. Privacy is an awesome idea, except gov hates it. Security and usefulness is something difficult to argue against...

Expect force majeure declared on many contractual obligations as supply chain disruption worsen...

I am by no means a prepper, but...
it looks like events are leading to supply chain disruption. Supply chain disruption will have grave deflationary consequences for global economy BUT will be highly inflationary locally as goods and cash become scarce. This may be the tipping point for the legacy system failing and opportunity for DGB to shine...

@dgb_chilling your Litecoin DGB speed test was funny, and sad at the same time. At least BTC has the excuse of being an original idea and first attempt, but LTC as an evolving iteration? The very fact that Lightening has to exist to make either competitive with other assets kind of sums it up. Without big money support/influence where do people think either BTC or LTC would be?

The aforementioned article is discussing the very definition of counter party risk and the aftermath of a "no bid" scenario, the nexus being negative interest rates in Europe. US interest rate cannot rise or a decimating run on Dollar denominated debt issuance around the worl will occur, and fast...

For those of you not reading ZH every day...
"Fed officials are considering a new tool to ease repo market stress: namely bypassing the existing system entirely, and lending cash directly to smaller banks, securities dealers and hedge funds through the repo market’s clearinghouse, the Fixed Income Clearing Corp., or FICC."

@daisyshift when Mind avoids seeing everything as linear Realizations based a cyclic nature of Reality are possible, and trying to prevent one cycle from ending or another from starting is seen as pushing on a string. Every cycle continues until it doesn't, and that's perfect timing! Looking at the Dollar we ask at 2% of original value does it really have to go to zero for it's cycle to end, and the answer is no...

About a year ago I posted an albeit poorly written article on LinkedIn (re-posted Sept 15 19) declaring the ability to Exchange and Transact freely to be a Value CREATING process. It is a concept worth pursuing (... @daisyshift ...)
The US Fed starting in Sept 19 is now well on the way to dumping $1 Trillion into Repo... the previous comment made by "bitboycrypto" supports the importance of exchanging and transacting freely. DGB!

"This time the ACH network went down for technical reasons, but there is nothing that says the banking system is a right that everyone has the ability to use. Governments routinely use the financial system to influence other nations, but these same tactics could be used on the domestic population as well."

Liquidity all but being called a crisis, US Fed continues to fund short term and revolving Repo- well on the way to soon pumping 1 Trillion into cash strapped Prime Banks, Broker Dealers, and or Hedge Funds. European institutions being at the center of this problem. When the dung finally hits the fan Private Ledgers may well be wiped clean with the only proof of Value owned being safe in DLTs like DigiByte. Gold you do not hold, you do not own.

both praxxis and elixxir in beta...
Praxxis is available for purchase but not for US Persons, yet...

As a transaction rail BTC is like a 72 volkswagon beetle
DGB a 2020 Porsche 911Carrera S
Yet institutions scramble for BTC custody solutions...why? (Who/where are those big BTC miners).

Share price of Deutsche Bank leaped higher today cause there is no liquidity crisis, US share market is not perceived by institutional money as the only viable parking place for many many billions and a strong Dollar wont undermine world economy. Focus on DGB coming to light...
